Children in care and children entitled to free school meals historically achieve lower results than those outside of these two groups. Children in these groups are known as Pupil Premium children. The school receives funding from central government to support the education of pupil premium children, and to reverse their academic underachievement.

Below is a summary of the school’s pupil premium funding, the ways in which we spend the funding to support our pupil premium students, and the impact on their academic progress in Maths and English.
